I almost decided to skip this week but since my course finished earlier than scheduled today, I decided to take the time to record it. Russian-based label Synthematik sent me a bunch of their releases and a lot of it is really really good. I played quite a few tracks on this episode as well as last week's. Check out their releases, it's really good quality stuff.

I'm sorry for the lack of podcasts this Summer so far, I went to Toronto last weekend for ISN Radio's Neurodance. If you ever chance to go, check it out. It's the first Saturday of every month and it's one of the best Industrial club nights I've ever gone to. Enjoy the new episode!

This past Saturday's Death Disco was a great time and I'm looking forward to the last Saturday of August to DJ for all of you again. Check out Death Disco if you have yet to check it out. It occurs at Swizzles every Saturday in Ottawa.

On Saturday, September 17th, DJ [L]otus and I will be the DJs on hand for Rabbit Hole Productions' Metal Mayhem Madness 5 event at the 2nd Bass Line Skybar & Restaurant at 300 Coventry Rd, 3rd Floor. I'll be spinning a mix of what you usually hear on this podcast as well as Metal.

Even though I bought a festival pass for this year's Bluesfest in Ottawa, I was actually able to get this episode done before I go out and see A Perfect Circle tonight. Highlights so far include Shpongle, Infected Mushroom, Skrillex and Soundgarden. I strongly disagree with them keeping the Bluesfest name even though half of the major acts booked during the festival aren't even Blues, but what can you do. Enjoy this week's episode!

I would like to apologize for my absence these past few months. I did the mistake of taking a Discrete Math course condensed in six weeks instead of the normal 14 weeks so lots of homework and studying was needed in order to pass the course. Now that I'm done, I'm back every week!

Wow! Already 50 episodes since I started this podcast back in October 2009. I would like to thank everyone who's been listening to these since the very start as well as those who just started listening. I started this podcast in order to promote this type of music in Ottawa but I can see from stats on my web server that people from everywhere around the world are listening to it and that, to me, is really cool.

For the 50th episode, I decided to mix some tracks that are nowhere near being new, but tracks that I really enjoy listening and dancing to. I hope that you enjoy this episode.

I have also been appointed as a Senator for the Ottawa Goth Syndicate. I've been attending their social outings for the past year as well as guest DJed during some of their events, they are solid people and they invite everyone to attend any of their social outings. This is a great way in Ottawa to meet like-minded people so I hope to see some of you listeners out with us in the future.

I'm back after a few weeks due to school, work as well as two weekends of crazy partying due to a gig in Toronto and then my birthday weekend. Crazy, crazy, crazy! I hope that you'll like what you hear :)

This is a reminder that I'm DJing next Saturday during Neurodance in Toronto at Neutral (349a College St.) Doors open at 10 PM and I'm one of the first ones to go on so make sure to get there early if you want to catch my set. An advantage for getting there early is that you'll pay $5 cover instead of $10 after 11:30 PM.
